Make sure your special day is memorable for the right reasons. Our Muskegon Wedding DJ’s are trained professionals who are committed to doing whatever it takes to make your wedding day special!

We will provide you with a detailed questionnaire to document your needs and expectations. This includes any special music you wish to be played during events like:  

We also provide a standard wedding play list so that you are completely aware of the songs we will play. This will allow you to make any changes – like songs you wish played, and songs you do not want played.

Our standard rate for our Wedding DJ service is $450. This includes music for up to 6 hours and lights. We do charge extra for more time, wedding ceremony music and venues outside of Kent, Ottawa, Muskegon, and Newaygo Counties. Our office, located in Twin Lake, MI, is open by appointment for perspective clients to meet the DJ and inspect our very modern equipment.

We are also willing to provide references from some of the many happy couples who chose us to host their special day.

We also offer 10% discount for Veterans (must provide a copy of DD 214).

How To Select A DJ For Your Special Day

There are a lot of "fly-by-night" DJ Companies out there. Above all, you need to protect yourself and your special day from:

Unlicensed/Unregistered DJs: Is your DJ licensed to conduct business (i.e. registered with the County Clerk under a D/B/A or LLC). If not, that is probably a red flag. 

Insurance: Liability insurance is important because things happen! Your guest's could trip over the DJ's cords, have lights fall on them, or they just might not show up. Having valid liability insurance will protect you and your guests and provide you with legal options if something happens.

Unscrupulous DJs: There ARE DJ companies doing business around West Michigan who will take your deposit and not show up. We know this because we ALWAYS get last minute calls from panicked couples who found themselves without a DJ just hours before their event.

Once you have verified their existence, verify that your DJ is going to deliver the show that you expect. Here's what you can do to protect yourself from:

Incapable DJs: Don't trust your event to an inexperienced or incapable DJ. Get references from the DJ. Follow up on the references to authenticate them by "Googling" the names to verify that a Marriage License was filed, or call the County Clerk's office.

Inferior/Inadequate Equipment: You should always inspect your DJs equipment before you hire them. Successful DJs will have modern equipment. Others will have beat up equipment that will stick out like a sore thumb at your event. Or, they don't have sufficient equipment to fill your event with sound. Also, ask to see back-up equipment. If the DJ's amp blows during your event, will there be a back-up? Good luck finding an amp at 10PM on a Saturday.

Uncooperative DJs: Is your DJ providing you with consultation service to help you plan your event? What about providing a play list and offering to make changes to accommodate your requests and format? If not, that is usually a sign of what you can expect on your wedding day. Be sure that you are given the opportunity to meet with the DJ. This will help you decide if their personality is right for you.
